Wild natural agarwood is a true delight. It has a calming and alluring effect when used, creates an effect that cannot be justified by mere words. One has to experience this special scent of agarwood - Hindi Sallah oud bakhoor- to appreciate its complexity. This Agarwood incense is most often used by Middle Eastern customers because of it’s typical scent notes of hints of barnyard, sweet milky and nutty scent mellowinf down to a dark saffron wood note.
For best results:
Place a small piece ofthis oudh bakhoor on a hot mica plate or a medium heat electric incense burner. This agarwood works well on charcoal that has burnt out the top layer to form ash. Place a piece on the ash of the top of the hot charcoal to allow it a slow and beautiful burn.
Agarwood is reputed to be the most expensive wood in the world. There are many names for the resinous, fragrant heartwood produced primarily by trees in the genus Aquilaria. Most commonly, the resin is known as agarwood, aloeswood, eaglewood, gaharu, agalocha or oudh (In Arabic)

Oil extracted from agarwood is used in Arabian countries as a perfume.
