This subitism heater is intended for low temp heating mostly. Not so much for high temp like using charcoal. We have tested this design at 16V for 4 hour continuously with no damage to the internals. Using higher voltage at long duration will reduce the life of the heater. DO NOT USE THIS HEATER ON A HIGH TEMPERATURE CONSISTENTLY.
